Michelle Mambuca is a Media Relations Specialist for C2 Communications. In this role, Michelle will work directly with clients to
implement integrated communications and marketing projects including media relations, community education and outreach, social media campaigns and marketing projects.
Prior to joining C2 Communications, Michelle honed her marketing and public relations skills by helping launch Link to Fitness, an innovative mobile app, to the public. At Link to Fitness she was responsible for all public relations tasks, including content creation (press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and flyers), managing social media and working with local publications to gain exposure and brand awareness.
Michelle also offers event coordination experience to C2 Communications’ clients. During her time at the Naples Zoo as an Event Coordinator, she organized weddings and events, including annual fundraising events like ZOObilee, Grapes and Apes, Children’s Advocacy Group and Party for the Planet. Michelle has experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Writing, Event Planning, Sales and Customer Service.
As a young professional, Michelle has established herself as a leader, with service on the board of directors for the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Florida Public Relations Society (FPRA), the Bonita Springs Chamber, and Order of Omega. Additionally, she has volunteered for Susan G. Komen, participating in annual events like the Race for the Cure and Stiletto Sprint.
A Florida native, Michelle grew up in Fort Lauderdale. She relocated to Southwest Florida to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), graduating Cum Laude. While she sharpened her career skills, she fell in love with the community. She looks forward to being an active leader in Southwest Florida and helping make this a better place for her growing family. When not working she enjoys time with family and friends, cooking and baking and volunteering for NaplesChurch.
